If Regeneration was a John Carpenter Universal Soldier movie, then Day of Reckoning must be a Lynch/Jarmusch one. I’m guessing the next will be his Malick one? Day of Reckoning completely transcends the genre, and still manages to be a great action movie. Those fights were amazing. Best Baseball Bat Battle Ever.
